Welcome
to Our San Francisco Office
From the time in 1849 when “Gold” echoed
from the Sierras, the lure of San Francisco has attracted
millions to the beautiful Bay area. The city, a small
jewel sitting on the end of a peninsula, offers a remarkable
number of historic land- marks and lots of panoramic
vista points emphasizing its stunning natural surroundings.
It’s a city made up of a world of diverse cultures,
which reflects in food, art, architecture and customs.
Find out why so many people have left their hearts in
San Francisco!
San Francisco is situated in Northern
California and offers an ideal basis for trips to other
parts of the “Golden State”. A short two
hours drive south brings you to the Monterey Peninsula
where you’ll find the well-known towns of Monterey
(home of the 2007 SITE Conference) and Carmel. A mere
30 minute drive north-east you’ll find America’s
most famous wine producing valleys surrounding the villages
of Sonoma and Napa. Going north-west and you’ll
enter Mount Tamalpais State Park, home to Muir Woods
Nat. Monument with its Coastal Sequoias. Short flights,
no more than two hours, will bring you to the cities
of Los Angeles, San Diego,
Las Vegas, Portland and Seattle.
San Francisco offers you and your
clients many possibilities for business and leisure
travel. The Moscone Convention Center (3 buildings)
houses many of the larger conferences in the USA
giving meaning to it’s nickname: “Everybody’s
Favorite City.”
